Logic:Using multiple MIDI controllers to trigger multiple different software instruments

Hey everyone!

I just found this Wiki and it is the closest thing to a real answer that I have found in the last three days of searching. First thank you for the post of using two different MIDI controllers, extremely useful. My question is: does it work the same way with MIDI controllers that are USB only?

Here is my set up: MacBook Pro (10.7.2) Logic Studio 9, Akai MPD18, M-Audio Oxygen 49 and an M-Audio Axiom 25. The idea is to be able to assign drums and only drums to the MPD18 and two different intruments to the the two M-Audio keyboards. This way I can capture the real feel of a life "Jam" in my home studio.

It should work just fine. If it doesn't feel free to post your problems.

I'm glad the site is useful. Let people know about it. It creates an incentive to keep it building it  :)
